Product overview
The RadioLink SE100(M10N) provides satellite positioning and an integrated electronic compass for connection to a UAV flight controller. Its hardware combines a u-blox M10050 receiver, a ceramic antenna and an IST8310 compass with an I2C interface. The receiver covers three frequency bands and supports simultaneous operation with BD1, GPS/L1, Galileo/E1 and GLONASS/G1. Positioning accuracy is 50 cm, and acquisition of 20 satellites within six seconds applies to open ground. SBAS L1 C/A support includes WAAS, EGNOS and MSAS.
The receiver architecture incorporates a 2.5 dBi high-gain, high-selectivity ceramic antenna, a GPS-specific 20 dB MMIC and a high-linearity low-noise amplifier. Front and rear Murata surface-acoustic-wave filters form a two-stage filtering arrangement with 78 dB attenuation of out-of-band interference. Together, the filtering and amplifier address strong-signal interference, including interference associated with high-power UAV video transmitters and high-voltage lines. The supplied hardware package contains one SE100 module, one mounting bracket and one packaging box.
Electrical integration requires 5 VDC ±5%, with current consumption of 50–100 mA. The connection arrangement identifies GPS and I2C ports at the PIXHAWK flight-controller end. NMEA is the factory-default protocol; when connected to a flight controller, the module automatically synchronizes with its port protocol at 115200 baud. A separate baud-rate specification is 38.4K. After disconnection from the controller and depletion of the internal supercapacitor, generally around two hours, the module returns to its factory-default NMEA protocol.
