Product overview

The RadioLink R8XM is an eight-channel miniature receiver for FPV drones and other radio-controlled models. It combines bidirectional telemetry with simultaneous SBUS and PPM outputs for connection to a flight controller. Its 22 × 17 mm footprint and 3 g weight suit installations with limited space and weight allowance. Supported controllers include PIX6, PIXHAWK, the CrossFlight series, Mini Pix, APM, F4 and F7. The supplied package contains one receiver, one engine voltage telemetry connection cable and one packing bag.

The R8XM uses FHSS spread spectrum with 67-channel pseudo-random frequency hopping and provides a control distance of 4000 meters. Telemetry returns RSSI, receiver voltage and model voltage over a range of up to 4000 meters. Battery voltage monitoring requires a balance-plug connection to the receiver and supports 2S-6S (7.4-25.2V) batteries without an extra telemetry module. Bluetooth T8FB/T8S transmitters support alarm threshold adjustment through phone and PC apps, while distinct audible patterns identify low transmitter, receiver or model voltage and low RSSI.
