Product overview
The RadioLink Electronic Limited R4F is a four-channel radio receiver for remote-controlled cars and boats. Its body measures 32 × 17 × 11.5 mm (1.26 × 0.67 × 0.45 inches), weighs 4 g (0.14 oz), and has a 205 mm (8.07-inch) antenna. The receiver operates across the 2.4 GHz ISM band, from 2400 MHz to 2483.5 MHz. Its FHSS radio system uses a 67-channel pseudorandom frequency-hopping sequence to help reduce signal interference.
The R4F requires a 4.8–10 V DC supply and has an operating current of 30 mA. Channel resolution is 4096, with a 12 ms transmission time from transmitter to receiver. Real-time telemetry provides RSSI and transmitter-voltage information. The 400-meter (1312-foot) maximum control range applies in an unobstructed area free of interference. Compatible transmitters include RC8X, RC6GS and RC4GS variants, T8FB and T8S variants, T16D and T12D, with the specific versions.
