Product overview
The Kitefly AF-W60 is a general-purpose tethered flight platform with six rotors and a structure made from carbon fiber and aviation aluminum alloy. It uses 48-inch folding carbon-fiber propellers and measures 2770 × 2430 × 1050 mm (± 20) unfolded or 1290 × 1125 × 1050 mm (± 20) folded. Empty weight is ≤ 34.5 kg excluding batteries. Its maximum payload is ≤ 60 kg, while maximum takeoff weight is ≤ 124.5 kg. The propulsion configuration uses an efficient FOC power system.
The equipment configuration includes four 18S 32000mAh batteries, an intelligent ultra-fast charger, and a remote controller with a 7-inch industrial touchscreen plus visual display. GPS and RTK positioning support BeiDou-only operation. Endurance is ≥ 65 minutes without payload, ≥ 28 minutes with a 50 kg payload, and ≥ 20 minutes with a 60 kg payload. Remote-control distance is 5–20 km in ground-to-air line-of-sight conditions. The aircraft has IP45 protection, a safe wind limit of ≤ level 7, and an operating temperature range of -20 °C to 50 °C.
