Product overview
The CKESC ROCK 220A 18S from Nanchang Changkong Technology is an electronic speed controller for multirotor UAV propulsion. Its electrical architecture combines low-resistance MOS devices, shielded signal wiring and optically isolated signal interfaces. The controller occupies 112 × 56 × 37 mm and weighs 351 g including wiring, giving integrators concrete dimensions and mass for installation planning. Connections comprise power leads, three-phase motor leads, a signal cable and a separate data feedback cable.
Integration requires a 6–18S supply and PWM control with a 3.3–5 V input signal; there is no BEC. Continuous operation at 150 A requires specific cooling, while the 220 A maximum applies for three seconds. Standard ingress protection is IP54, with IP67 available by customization. Low-voltage protection is disabled by default. Other protections address startup failure, excessive voltage, current, load and temperature, and signal loss, although a motor stall at high throttle can damage the controller.
