Product overview
The CKESC Apex 180A 24S from Nanchang ChangKong Technology is a brushless electronic speed controller for UAV propulsion integration. Its physical envelope is 140.4 × 69.6 × 23.5mm, with a weight of 372g including wiring. It accepts 12~24S power and has no BEC. Shielded signal wiring and optically isolated input/output interfaces address interference. PWM is the standard communication method, while PWM+CAN with data storage is optional. Serial telemetry provides supply voltage, motor speed, current, controller temperature and debugging data for integration and setup.
Current selection must distinguish the 100A continuous rating under specified cooling from the 180A maximum rating for three seconds. Default firmware supports timing adjustment; a fixed version is optional, and maximum-power mode can be enabled. Standard ingress protection is IP54, with IP67 available by customization, and the operating ambient range is -20~+65°C. Low-voltage protection is disabled by default. Above 115°C, output progressively derates and later recovers as temperature falls. Signal loss triggers a staged shutdown, while a stall at high throttle can still damage the controller.
