Product overview
The Maytech MT20A-SBEC-FP32 Falcon Pro is a brushless electronic speed controller intended principally for RC airplanes, with applications also including helicopters, aerobatic aircraft, remotely operated vehicles and cable-camera systems. Its control architecture uses a 32-bit MCU and Maytech FP series firmware, with a separate voltage-regulator IC serving the MCU. Motor-control features include linear throttle control, quick response and low-speed operation. This is an ESC component for integration into a powered system, rather than a flight platform or airframe kit.
The controller measures 30*17.5mm and weighs 11g net, defining its stated size and mass for installation planning. Its electrical configuration supports 2-4-cell LiPo batteries, a 20A continuous current rating, a 30A burst rating and a 5.5V/4A BEC. Programming is available through Trx or an optional Maytech programming card. Protection covers low voltage, blocked rotation and signal loss; safe startup inhibits motor operation when the battery is connected, regardless of throttle-stick position. Motor direction can be changed through wiring or programming.
