Product overview
The MAD M5C12 IPE Drone Motor is a propulsion component for multirotor drones operating in variable outdoor conditions. It is designed for 1.5–3 kg single-axis payloads with 15–22 inch carbon fiber propellers. The 280KV, 420KV and 490KV options each specify 6S operation. Sustained thrust is 1.5~3kg, with maximum thrust ratings of both 7kg and 6.9 kg per axis. Motor weights are 245g/259g/263g, with no explicit assignment to individual KV options; a separate motor weight statement gives 263g.
The motor measures D:61 × 36.5 mm, with an IN: 4 mm shaft and two EZO 626ZZ bearings. Mechanical integration uses D:30 M3×4 motor mounting holes and D:12 M3×4 or D:18 M3×4 propeller mounting patterns. Its cable specification is 150 mm 18Awg(Black)silicone weld. An anti-rust-treated stator core and IP45 rating address environmental exposure. Varnished wire and magnet temperature tolerances are 180 ℃ and 150 ℃ respectively. Rotor balance is ≤5mg and motor balance is ≤10mg; the winding withstand voltage test is 500V.
