The MAD KONKER XT30/XT60 Short Circuit Protector is a bench accessory for initial power-up, wiring checks and electronic setup of FPV aircraft. It connects between a LiPo battery and the aircraft electronics, using a current-limiting circuit with a 3.5A trip threshold. Its compact, 3D-printed housing incorporates XT30 and XT60 connections, a digital battery-voltage display, green and red status LEDs, and an audible buzzer. The supplied package contains one protector and one storage case.
Integration is through either connector, with only one battery port used at a time. Supported batteries are 2S–6S LiPo, covering 7.4V to 25.2V, with a maximum input of 30V. The 2.5A continuous-current rating supports idle-speed motor direction checks and powering the stack for BLHeli, BLHeli_32 or AM32 firmware configuration. High-current motor runs are prohibited, and the protector must be removed before flight. A red LED and buzzer signal a fault requiring battery disconnection and wiring inspection before reconnection.
