The MAD 7005 EEE is a brushless propulsion motor for X-class FPV drones, industrial inspection and mapping UAVs, and cinematic or commercial heavy-lift platforms. It has a 70 mm stator, a sustained thrust rating of 2–3 kg and a maximum thrust rating of 6.6 kg per motor. The 115KV version uses a 12S system at 44.4 V and is recommended for 28–32 inch propellers, delivering higher torque at lower rotational speed. The 230KV version uses a 6S system at 22.2 V and runs at higher rotational speed, with recommended propeller sizes of 18–24 inches.
These electrical and propeller pairings distinguish the two versions for different propulsion configurations. The motor measures 79 mm in diameter by 21.8 mm and weighs 186 g in the standard variant or 196 g in the extended variant. Its construction includes two EZO 6802ZZ bearings, an anticorrosive stator, independent centrifugal heat dissipation and rain protection. The winding varnish has a temperature rating of 180°C, while the magnets have a rating of 150°C.
