The Lyncon Technology XCD-220 is a cargo-carrying multirotor flight platform with six motors and six propellers, a gimbal camera and a battery system. Its carbon-fiber and aluminum-alloy structure uses an integrally formed frame with folding arms. The standard cargo box supports deliveries in which the aircraft lands to transfer supplies. Its external dimensions are 700 × 400 × 360mm, with an internal loading space of 650 × 350 × 300mm. Supported payload options include an electro-optical pod, lighting and an aerial hoist; the hoist uses a quick-release arrangement supporting installation in 3 seconds.
The standard mission payload is 100kg, with a maximum payload of 120kg and a maximum takeoff weight of 220kg. Endurance is 20 minutes carrying 100kg. Optional forward radar can slow the aircraft to a stop when it detects an obstacle ahead, while the optional parachute requires a minimum safe deployment height of 100m. Environmental limits include light rain, Force 6 wind resistance and operation from -20°C to 55°C. The remote controller combines a 7-inch sunlight-readable screen, dual-band 2.4G/5.8GHz wireless connectivity, a Qualcomm processor and Android, with 6–8 hours of operating endurance.
