Product overview
The ISDT Air8 is a battery charger built around fully digital power technology, with support for BattAir smart batteries and wireless battery communication. Its smart battery functions identify battery type automatically and match charging parameters, reducing manual setup for supported batteries. Charging support covers 1–8S LiFe, Li-ion, LiPo and ULiHv packs, including ultra-high-voltage lithium cells rated at 4.45 V per cell. It also accommodates 1–12S lead-acid batteries and 1–16S NiMH/NiCd batteries.
The Air8 connects wirelessly to the ISDLink mobile app for charging-task presets and charging-progress monitoring. This provides a phone-based interface for setting up charging tasks and following their progress, alongside its smart battery communication functions. Firmware maintenance has two connection routes: a USB interface linked to a computer, or a wireless mobile-app connection for OTA updates. The app also supports in-app OTA upgrading, bringing charging management and wireless firmware maintenance into the same mobile interface.
