Product overview
The TX18 is an off-the-shelf navigation protection component for integration into aircraft, vehicles, ships and fixed installations. Its built-in 11-element antenna array suppresses interference by forming nulls toward incoming interference sources, including in dynamic scenarios involving multiple jammers. It delivers a protected standard RF signal for connection to a GNSS receiver. Applications include fixed-wing and rotary-wing aircraft and UAV systems, with integration also described for external GPS receivers and vehicle navigation systems. The hardware is an antenna subsystem rather than a flight platform or airframe kit.
The circular unit measures Ø252 × 36.5 mm and weighs less than 1100 g, providing concrete mounting-envelope and mass requirements for integration. It operates from 12 VDC, consumes less than 25 W and has a specified operating temperature range of -40 °C to +70 °C. Connections comprise one SMA female connector and a J30J 21-pin socket, alongside a serial data interface. Protected frequencies are GPS L1/L2, GAL E1, BDS B1 and GLO L1. Its greater-than-95 dB J/S performance applies to typical GPS receiver performance with three broadband jammers from different directions.
