The WES 1090190 from Huizhou WES New Energy is a single lithium-ion pouch cell for commercial and industrial UAV power systems. It is a building block for engineering teams designing their own packs, not a battery that drops into an aircraft. Each cell is rated at 3.85 V nominal and 20,000 mAh, which gives 77 Wh. The cell measures 9.2 × 91 × 192 mm and weighs 327 g. These figures let designers estimate the space and mass of series/parallel arrangements for mapping, inspection, agricultural, logistics and delivery platforms, as well as other high-power airframes.
On the electrical side, the cell is rated for 15C continuous discharge, which is about 300 A at its 20 Ah rating. The standard charge rate is 1C, and 2C fast charging is supported only with an approved charge method and defined thermal limits. Cycle life is 800 cycles with at least 85% of capacity retained, measured at 1C charge and 3C discharge. The specified operating range is -15°C to 60°C. Actual flight time and usable capacity depend on the finished pack layout, propulsion, payload, flight profile and thermal design. The cell is not intended as an off-the-shelf battery for conventional FPV racing or freestyle drones.
Features that belong to the finished pack are defined during OEM integration and do not come with the bare cell. These include XT60 or XT90 connectors, a battery management system (BMS), CAN or SMBus communication, harnessing, enclosure and labelling. To scope a design, buyers provide the target pack voltage, peak and continuous current, energy target, available space, charging approach, temperature exposure and expected volumes. The manufacturer offers custom pack and labelling support from a 40,000 m² factory. Minimum order quantity, lead time and change-control terms are quoted for each programme.
