The Hongfei HZH Y50 Transport Drone is a complete transport aircraft for emergency rescue, air transport, firefighting and material supply. Its four-axis architecture places eight rotors in an upper-and-lower arrangement around a folding X-shaped structure. Carbon fiber and aviation aluminum form the airframe, with an integrated carbon-fiber fuselage. The aircraft measures 1900mm × 1900mm × 730mm and folds to 800mm × 800mm × 730mm. Empty weight is 23.2KG. Its parameter specification lists a 60KG maximum load, while the feature and design descriptions also identify 50kg carrying capability.

Integration options include mission-specific equipment for electric power, firefighting and police applications. The standard camera configuration is a three-axis pod with crosshair aiming, 12 million pixels, 14x zoom and a 100-degree tilt range. Dual-antenna, dual-mode RTK provides centimeter-level positioning, while millimeter-wave radar supports obstacle detection, including objects with a diameter of at least 2.5cm. The H12 control system supports 1080P video and a 10km communication distance. Its ground-station application is based on QGC and provides a map interface for task control.

The basic supply comprises the complete aircraft and battery, with the specific equipment configuration determined by customer requirements. Aircraft power specifications are 61.6V and 28000mAh × 4. The endurance table gives ≥ 44 minutes unladen; this is a no-load figure. An optional pair of 52,000mAh batteries is described for one-hour endurance. Charging equipment provides 2500W and 25A, with precise charging, fast charging and battery-maintenance modes. New batteries require activation, with slow charging for the first four to five cycles. Other operating specifications include IP56 protection, wind resistance level 9 and a 0–20m/s cruising range.
