Product overview
The Holybro Kakute H7 v1 combines an STM32H743 processor running at 480 MHz with an MPU6000 inertial measurement unit, BMP280 barometer and AT7456E on-screen display hardware. Its physical format is a 35 × 35mm controller board weighing 8g, with a 30.5 × 30.5mm mounting pattern and 4mm holes fitted with 3mm grommets. Integration connections include USB Type-C, a full MicroSD card slot for Blackbox logging, LED and buzzer pads, and I2C pads for external GPS or magnetometer connections.
Two JST-SH1.0 8-pin ports connect 4-in-1 ESCs and support an x8 octocopter configuration; the nine PWM outputs comprise eight motor outputs and one LED output. A separate 6-pin VTX connector accommodates HD systems such as Caddx Vista and Air Unit, alongside analog video support. Battery input spans 7V to 42V, with continuous BEC ratings of 5V/2A and 9V/3A. Of the six UARTs, UART2 serves Bluetooth telemetry. Integrated Bluetooth enables SpeedyBee phone configuration and tuning, automatically switching off when armed and returning when disarmed.
