The HGLRC Soter FPV Drone Buzzer combines an audible alarm with a flashing LED to help locate an FPV drone after a loss of main battery power. It takes a 5V input, measures 22 × 12 × 12mm and weighs 3.6g. With the flight controller connected, a main battery power loss during flight triggers a 100-decibel alarm and flashing LED after 30 seconds. It also supports conventional buzzer functions synchronized with the flight controller.
The Soter is compatible with all Betaflight and Cleanflight flight controllers and connects to the flight controller's buzzer interface. With correct wiring and the aircraft powered on, the flight controller's power supply automatically charges the buzzer; a flashing red LED indicates charging, and the red LED turns off when charging is complete. An optional alarm activates after 30 minutes of power-on with the flight controller connected normally, producing a 100-decibel sound and flashing LED. This function is disabled by default and requires resoldering wires to different pads to enable it. Holding the release button for more than five seconds turns off the alarm and LED.
