Product overview
The HEQ CH-4 Mini is a UAV-mounted sensing instrument for methane inspection. Its architecture combines a detection laser with a calibrated visible-light sensor and uses tunable diode laser absorption spectroscopy (TDLAS) for real-time analysis. Gimbal stabilization and laser ranging support inspection, while two-dimensional planar scanning provides continuous coverage across a target area. At 227 g ± 5 g, the instrument integrates sensing, pointing and communications functions into a lightweight payload for supported aircraft.
Integration options include DJI Matrice 4E/4T and DJI Dock 3 aircraft, Matrice 4D/4TD, with the latter supporting unattended and periodic automated inspections. A built-in communication module uploads detection data to a cloud platform for inspection viewing, track recording and remote alarms. Detection spans 1–100 m, with ±10% accuracy specified over 100–50000 ppm·m. Operation is limited to -20°C through +45°C, and software gimbal travel is narrower than mechanical travel. Both lasers are Class 3R and require avoidance of direct eye exposure.
