Product overview
The HEQ CH-4 III is a UAV-mounted laser methane sensing payload for natural-gas inspection. Its compact architecture combines a detection laser, a visible-light sensor, a stabilized gimbal and laser ranging. Tunable diode laser absorption spectroscopy supports methane detection and real-time data analysis while the aircraft carries the instrument away from the leak location. The imaging configuration includes a 1080P alignment camera and FHD 1920 × 1080 video at 30p, with stabilization across yaw, pitch and roll.
Integration centers on a standard interface adapted for DJI M300, 350 and 400 aircraft, with customization supported. The instrument weighs 770g, and its electrical specification gives rated current below 1A and typical consumption of 0.3A at 8V. HEQ Captain supports route planning and automatic waypoint operations, alongside KML/KMZ import and terrain-following support. Detection distance is 300m; the ±10% accuracy specification applies within 100~50000 ppm*m. Operating temperature is -20℃ to 50℃, and both Class 3R lasers require avoiding direct eye exposure.
