Product overview
The Happymodel Superbee F4 Lite is an integrated flight controller for 1S tiny whoop drones, offered in ELRS and FRSKY versions. Its board combines flight processing, a four-channel BLHeli_S ESC, an SPI receiver, Betaflight OSD, a 5V 1A BEC and voltage detection. An STM32F411CEU6 processor runs at 100MHz with 512K flash, paired with one of three listed SPI sensors. This is a flight control component for integration into a drone, with the controller and ESC operating from a single-cell LiPo or LiHV supply spanning 2.8V~4.35V.
Receiver selection determines the firmware target and radio integration. The ELRS version uses CrazybeeF4SX1280 and provides a 2.4GHz SPI ExpressLRS receiver with an IPEX antenna connector, five packet rate options from 25Hz to 500Hz, and telemetry output below 12dBm. Binding support covers transmitter modules running ELRS V2.0 firmware. The FRSKY version uses CrazybeeF4FR and a CC2500-based receiver supporting D8/D16, specified non-EU and EU-LBT modes, Futaba S-FHSS and Redpine. Its stated 100m~200m range applies with both transmitter and receiver 1 m above the ground and no ground interference.
The onboard ESC supports BLHeliSuite programming and DSHOT150, DSHOT300 and DSHOT600, with a 5A continuous rating and a 6A peak limited to five seconds. Supplied as a Mobula6 HDZERO spare component, the controller defaults to MSP for its OSD device. Analog-camera integration may require changing the Betaflight display device to MAX7456 and uploading an OSD font after reconnecting. The compact solder joints also demand careful assembly: soldering-related damage is excluded from free replacement, although the controller can be returned for repair.
