The CY-05 is a high-performance FPV drone in Guangzhou AssaultIntelligent Technology's CY series. It is built for high-speed racing and for flying through complex environments. The frame is made from carbon fibre and aviation-grade aluminium, which makes it strong and durable while keeping the weight to 450 g. The aerodynamic layout uses a relatively large wheelbase, 230 mm diagonally between motors, and 51466 three-blade propellers for speed and precise handling. Overall dimensions are 322 mm × 258 mm × 60 mm, and maximum speed is 140 km/h. Because it is fast and meant for professional use, it suits pilots with flying experience rather than beginners.

The drone has a high-efficiency battery system and an HD digital video transmission system that gives the pilot a clear, stable live video feed. Video transmission range is 5 km and flight distance is 7 km. The battery is rated 5000mAh / high-energy 1300mAh, 6S 22.8V 120C. It gives up to 20 minutes of flight time and keeps the drone stable at high speed. The aircraft runs on 1.2G and 5.8G frequencies and supports both PAL and NTSC video formats.

For mission equipment, the CY-05 can carry a payload of up to 1500 g (1.5 kg). This makes it suitable for a small camera or other accessories.
