The Guangdong Fanya Technology EM-006 is a fuel-electric hybrid reconnaissance aircraft for emergency response, aerial observation, patrol, firefighting, rescue and security or forestry missions. Its physical architecture combines a wheelbase of ≤1600 mm with a one-piece fuel tank made from cross-linked polyethylene and incorporating an antistatic design. Tank baffles reduce fuel sloshing to support stability during high-speed flight. The aircraft provides rain and water protection for all-weather operation, and its protective enclosure has a double-layer construction with rain and water protection.
The flight platform has a rated mission payload of 5 kg and includes high-definition digital image transmission for live video monitoring and command-system integration. Its ground station provides route planning, autonomous and semi-autonomous flight, and real-time displays of engine power, fuel consumption, latitude and longitude. In open, unobstructed surroundings, conventional remote control has a 15 km range. Standard 5G control enables operation without a specified distance limit when using a 5G signal under the same open, unobstructed conditions.
The EM-006 has a 100 km range, cruises at 10 m/s and reaches a maximum speed of 80 km/h. Maximum takeoff weight is 36 kg at sea level; fuel capacity is ≤15 L, and unloaded endurance exceeds four hours. Maximum flight altitude is 2500 m, operating temperature is −20°C to 50°C, and maximum wind resistance is ≥ force 7. Redundant flight controls provide return-to-home upon loss of control and broken-propeller protection. The hybrid design supports safe landing after an in-flight engine shutdown or rotor failure, while engine service life is ≥300 hours.
