Product overview
GTAC’s Jitai Hangkong GATSN™ Airborne Time-Sensitive Network addresses interconnection between airborne equipment, including use as an eVTOL backbone. Its architecture combines GSU network switches, TSN end systems embedded within equipment, and GDIU interface units for legacy devices. The GSU provides published 100/1000 Mbps switching and supports TSN connections, cascaded networks and standard Ethernet mixed networks. This describes an avionics networking architecture.
Integration options include equipment-level TSN access, queuing and sampling ports, and manufacturer-claimed compatibility with ARINC653 operating systems and resident applications. Legacy CAN and RS422 data can reach the GSU through a GDIU. Aircraft-wide backbones, local connections and node resources are configurable. Published timing is up to 100 µs latency across two hops and 1 µs jitter, without measurement conditions.
