The Grepow TA500Q is a four-channel G-Tech smart battery charger designed for 400mm soccer-drone racing and heavy-class competitive FPV. It is optimized for high-capacity 2–6S G-Tech smart batteries, with a 6S 3000mAh pack given as an example. Total charger power is rated at a maximum of 500W, while charging current reaches up to 15A per channel. Its AC input specification is 100–240V at 50/60Hz, with a maximum input current of 6A, and maximum output voltage is 26.1V.
The TA500Q offers selectable 1.5C slow charging and 3C fast charging, subject to the 15A per-channel limit. G-Tech integration automatically recognizes battery type, cell count, capacity and health status and matches the charging curve. A separate storage mode uses built-in discharge circuitry to bring batteries to 3.8V per cell. Each channel has an independent MCU and hardware cutoff, supported by protocol protection and real-time RGB and buzzer alerts.
The charger measures 183.4 ± 2 × 118 ± 1.5 × 90 ± 1.5mm and weighs 1030 ± 30g. Its permitted operating temperature is 0–45°C, while the charger’s storage temperature range is -20–60°C. These ambient limits are distinct from the battery storage-discharge target of 3.8V per cell. Together, its charging and storage functions support battery replenishment during racing and training and battery maintenance between periods of use.
