The GEPRC Tern40 LR V2 WTFPV is a four-inch FPV flight platform intended for long-range aerial filming. Its deadcat layout supports cleaner forward-facing shots, while a four-point suspended camera mount reduces vibration reaching the imaging assembly. The frame has a 186.7 mm wheelbase, 4 mm arms, 1.5 mm top and bottom plates, and a 2 mm middle plate. Ventilated side plates support cooling, and the fixed XT30 connector provides the battery connection.
Flight electronics comprise a GEPRC TAKER F722 45A 32Bit AIO controller, STM32F722 processor, ICM42688-P SPI gyroscope and Betaflight OSD with AT7456E. The propulsion configuration pairs 1404 3000KV motors with HQProp T4X2.5Grey propellers. GPS-equipped purchasing options cover PNP, ELRS 2.4G and ELRS 915M configurations. A GEP-M10nano GPS and configurable low-battery and lost-model buzzer support operation. The WTFPV PNP version weighs 146g±5g; the specified 12-minute flight time uses a LiHV 4S 720mAh battery and a landing threshold of 3.6V per cell.
This is an equipped drone platform rather than an airframe-only kit, but the WTFPV configuration excludes a VTX. Its 20mm camera mounting width and default mounting arrangement target the DJI O4 Air Unit Pro; other video systems require compatible mounting parts sourced separately. Supplied accessories include two propeller sets, camera and BEC mounts, side plates, damping balls, VTX cables, battery pads, four battery straps, spare fasteners and a screwdriver. Recommended batteries are LiPo 4S 660mAh–850mAh or 18650 3000mAh.
