The GEPRC Tern-LR40 HD Wasp Long Range FPV is a powered aircraft configured for long-range FPV flying and straight-line aerial photography. Its 4-inch DC layout keeps propellers out of the flight view, while the structure incorporates aviation-grade 7075 aluminum parts. The 180mm wheelbase combines 1.5mm top and bottom plates, a 2.0mm middle plate and 3.5mm arms. A top-mounted GEP-M10nano GPS supports rescue operation, with its placement intended to reduce interference from onboard electronics.
The supplied flight platform combines a Taker G4 45A 8Bit AIO, GEP-SPEEDX2 1404 3000KV motors, HQProp T4X2.5Grey propellers, Link video transmitter and Wasp camera. Receiver choices cover PNP, ELRS 2.4G, ELRS 915 and TBS Nano RX configurations. The Wasp PNP version weighs 171g±5g. Recommended batteries are LiPo 4S 660mah-850mah or 18650 3000mah, with a stated flight-time range of 10-25min.
