The GEPRC SMART16 Freestyle FPV Drone is a 1.6-inch mini-quadcopter flight platform for freestyle and racing. Its GEP-ST16 frame has a 78mm wheelbase, 1.5mm carbon fiber arms, a 1.0mm top plate and a 1.5mm bottom plate. GR0803-11000KV motors drive GemFan 1610-2 propellers. The flight controller, 12A four-in-one BLheli_S ESC and 200mW 5.8G video transmitter each have specified dimensions of 16*16mm. A Caddx Ant camera and UFL stick antenna provide the FPV hardware, while the controller incorporates an STM32F411 MCU, six-axis gyro and BetaFlight OSD with an AT7456E chip.
Receiver options are PNP, AC900 D8/D16, ELRS 915M, ELRS 2.4G and TBS Nano RX; PNP comes without a receiver. The supplied 3D printed battery holder provides an independent compartment that can attach above or below the frame. Power uses two 1S batteries in series for a 2S 380mAh configuration, with a weight as little as 53.0g and four minutes of flight time. The separately specified weight is 36.0g. Package contents comprise one SMART16 set, four propellers, two M12x120mm battery ties, two non-slip mats, a spare printed set, spare screws and a spare screwdriver set.
