The GEPRC DarkStar25 WTFPV is a compact cinewhoop quadcopter intended for indoor flying and outdoor freestyle. It is supplied as a drone platform with propulsion and flight electronics, without a video transmitter, camera or antenna. Its GEP-DS25 frame combines a 115mm wheelbase with a 2.5mm main plate. Added side protection and five-point damping form part of its filming-oriented architecture. Silicone dampers use retention screws to help prevent separation during crashes, while five-screw disassembly provides access for maintenance.
The frame layout improves internal space and heat dissipation, with optional GPS support. A TAKER F722 35A 32Bit AIO flight system works with SPEEDX2 1404 4600KV motors and HQProp DT63MMX3 V2 propellers. Configuration choices comprise PNP and ELRS 2.4G, each offered with a GPS option; the specified optional module is the GEP-M10 Nano. When replacing an O4 Air Unit Pro with an O4 Wide Air Unit, whose input voltage is 3.7–13.2V, use the 5V pad to power the unit or install an external BEC module.
The ELRS2.4G version weighs 145g. The recommended battery is a LiPo 4S 700mAh–850mAh, and the battery connector is XT30U-M. Flight time is 6-8min under slow cruising conditions, with actual duration dependent on flight style. Supplied equipment includes the drone, top cover, canopy, battery pad, strap, two anti-slip pads and two propeller pairs. Installation accessories comprise a 1.5mm L-shaped screwdriver, damping ball punch tool, binding pin and Type-C cable. Five spare camera-mount damping balls and four sets of screws are also included.
