Product overview
The Forlinx Embedded FET1061-S is an embedded core board for integration into equipment, with UAV electronics, motor control and data acquisition among its applications. Its NXP i.MX RT1061 processor uses an ARM Cortex-M7 core operating at 528MHz; the commercial-grade version is specified at 600MHz. The board provides 1MB of on-chip SRAM, with up to 512KB configurable as tightly coupled memory. Its storage configuration is 4MB QSPI NOR flash, with 16MB available as an option. Software support includes bare-metal operation, FreeRTOS and RT-Thread.
The module occupies 30×30×3mm and uses 100 castellated connections arranged as four groups of 25 at 1.0mm pitch. Its PCB is 1mm thick, with four layers and an immersion-gold finish. A 5V supply powers the board, and the industrial operating temperature range is -40°C to +85°C. Integration interfaces include high-speed GPIO, Ethernet, UART, CAN, CAN FD, USB and analog inputs. Interface maxima are hardware-design or processor-theoretical values. Development resources include a platform package, introductory tutorials and software examples covering peripherals, networking, FreeRTOS, USB and FAT filesystem access.
