The FlySky PL18 Paladin is an 18-channel radio controller supporting fixed-wing aircraft, helicopters, FPV racing drones, multirotors and construction vehicles. Its AFHDS3 radio operates at 2.4G with transmit power below 20 dBm and channel resolution of 4096. The controller combines dual antennas with a 3.5-inch HVGA TFT display at 320*480 resolution. Its black body measures 214*86.5*192 mm and weighs 946g. Data connections comprise USB, a non-standard USART interface and PHJACK for PPM; USB simulator support is also provided.
The built-in battery is a 1S, 3.7V, 4300mAh unit, with operating time above eight hours and a low-voltage alarm below 3.65V. Micro USB charging takes 4h at 5V*2A, while wireless charging takes 7h at 5V*2A. The controller supports Chinese and English interface languages and online updates. Its temperature range is -10°C to +60°C, with a humidity range of 20%-95%. Certifications are CE, FCC ID N4ZFT1800 and RCM.
