The Flamingo VF20E is an electric, long-endurance UAV platform that combines a fixed wing with a quadrotor layout for vertical takeoff and landing. Designed for industrial operations, it brings together fixed-wing endurance, speed and range with the ability to operate in mountainous, hilly and forested terrain and areas with dense buildings. Its integrated flight control, navigation and ground station software supports autonomous takeoff, flight-mode transition, cruise and landing, along with automatic route planning for 1,000 waypoints and emergency alternate landing plans for 100 waypoints. The platform can carry electro-optical pods, high-definition image transmission links, aerial survey cameras and oblique photography cameras for applications including surveying, pipeline and power infrastructure inspection, forest firefighting and border patrol.
