Product overview
The DYS 3 axis mini Alexmos controller, item number Mini 3axis, is designed for smaller gimbals. Its main board measures 46.6x30mm, while the sensor retains its previous size. Firmware v.2.3b5 allows PWM, Sum-PPM or analog mode to be assigned independently to each RC input. A yaw encoder or joystick can work alongside RC control or an external flight controller. The serial API adds a C command for camera control, with a C++ example for Arduino included.
Firmware v.2.3b5 corrects repeated-yaw instability and accidental camera rotation at yaw-lock startup. With an external flight controller connected and calibrated, stability improves over wider inclinations, even at ±80 degrees of pitch. Voltage drop compensation supports PID stability throughout the battery lifecycle. Planned low-voltage alarms and motor cutoff require some newest boards, or older boards modified with a 33k/10k voltage divider connected to pin 19 and an active buzzer connected to pin 32. RC inputs may need reconfiguration after upgrading. GUI changes add full-screen mode and fix upgrade failures when working paths contain spaces.
