Product overview
The droneyee TS-A8 is a military tethered octocopter built for sustained airborne missions with interchangeable equipment. A cable connects the aircraft to a ground station for electrical power, supporting tethered endurance of at least 12 h. High-power motors drive 34-inch carbon-fiber propellers, and maximum payload capacity is 10 kg. Its modular mounting arrangement accommodates mission equipment for signal reconnaissance, communications relay, electronic countermeasures and video surveillance; those roles depend on the payload fitted to the platform.
The aircraft is equipped with a vehicle-mounted automatic takeoff and landing system for deployment and recovery from a moving vehicle, with a maximum vehicle-following speed of 40 km/h. Its deployed envelope, including propellers, is 1847×1847×775 mm ±10 mm, reducing to 803×790×768 mm ±10 mm when stowed. Tethered flight height is 200 m with a 10 kg payload. Operating provisions include a 380 V supply, Force 6 wind resistance, light-rain resistance and an ambient temperature range of -20 ℃ to 50 ℃.
