DJI Wireless Follow Focus provides wireless focus control through a motor, remote controller and geared focus ring. The motor weighs 170 g and measures 90 × 50 × 26 mm, while the controller weighs 745 g and measures 153 × 86 × 90 mm. These separate components define the space and weight requirements for integrating the focus system into a camera setup. The controller incorporates a 3.7 V lithium-ion battery rated at 1700 mAh and 6.29 Wh.
Mechanical integration uses motor mounting hole sizes of 19 mm and 15 mm, a 40-tooth motor gear and a 105-tooth focus ring, both with module 0.8 gearing. Focus ring internal diameters are 60, 70, 80 and 90 mm. The motor requires 9-16 V power and reaches a maximum torque of 0.35 Nm and maximum speed of 192 rpm. Wireless communication distance is 100 m outdoors in open, unobstructed surroundings, and the operating temperature range is -20 to 55 °C.
