The DJI TB100 Intelligent Flight Battery powers the DJI Matrice 400, which uses a single flight battery. It can be charged with the BS100 battery station. At 25 °C under laboratory conditions, a full charge takes approximately 45 minutes in fast mode with a 220 V supply, or 70 minutes with a 110 V supply. Quiet mode takes approximately 110 minutes at either supply voltage.
The TB100 supports automatic heating before charging in cold conditions. When a battery below 5 °C is inserted into the powered BS100 station, it heats automatically; heating stops and charging begins once its temperature exceeds 20 °C. When inserted into the aircraft at a temperature below 20 °C, the battery heats to 20 °C and then enters a temperature-maintenance mode. The Matrice 400 also supports a quick restart if the battery replacement is completed within 45 seconds, using a capacitor to maintain power to core components during the change.
