The DJI Matrice 4D Series Battery powers aircraft in the DJI Matrice 4D series, which includes the Matrice 4D and Matrice 4TD. It supports charging through DJI Dock 3 or the DJI Matrice 4D Series 240W Charging Hub; the aircraft does not support onboard charging. The battery's operating temperature range is -20°C to 45°C. Low temperatures shorten runtime, so planned flight duration must account for the reduced endurance.
The 240W Charging Hub charges batteries sequentially, either to 100% in standard mode or to 90% in standby mode, where it maintains that charge level. Charging one battery from 15% takes approximately 40 minutes to reach 100%, or approximately 30 minutes to reach 90%. With DJI Dock 3, the corresponding times are approximately 37 minutes from 15% to 100% and 27 minutes from 15% to 95%. The 27-minute minimum interval between dock operations applies at an ambient temperature of 25°C with the aircraft powered off. Dock 3 does not automatically replace batteries, and its internal backup battery cannot charge the aircraft battery.
