The DJI M30 (Dock version) is an aircraft designed for use with DJI Dock. Its gimbal camera combines three sensors: a wide-angle camera, a zoom camera and a laser rangefinder. This configuration distinguishes it from the M30T Dock version, which adds a thermal imaging camera. The standard M30 Series aircraft cannot directly use DJI Dock; the Dock versions have a different airframe design to accommodate the docking configuration.
Compared with the standard M30 Series, the Dock version adds a charging interface and a charging management module at the landing gear. It also supports control using DJI RC Plus after the controller has been paired with the aircraft. A limitation applies to flights between docking locations: taking off from one DJI Dock and landing at a different DJI Dock during the same flight is not supported.
