The CZI CZ10 is a complete tethered lighting system comprising a folding airside unit, a suitcase-style groundside unit and a power supply. Its airside unit weighs 249g, while total system weight is 3.5kg. Folded, the flying unit is described as no larger than a coffee cup; packed together with the groundside unit, the system fits into a standard outdoor backpack. This compact architecture supports single-person transport and rapid deployment. Built-in groundside lighting helps illuminate setup, and the product offers grey or white color options.
The lighting unit delivers 16,000lm at 100W, with maximum coverage of 1300m² at a 10m operating altitude. Paired with a 0.5 kWh portable power station, it provides approximately three hours of illumination in no wind at a 10m hover altitude and 100W lighting power; lowering altitude or brightness may extend that duration. Ground station buttons handle takeoff, landing and basic lighting adjustments, while the mobile app controls orientation, altitude and lighting modes. RTK supports hovering accuracy within 10 cm, and an internal groundside battery supports landing after external power failure.
