Product overview
The cysmodel CYS-S8246 New 9g Plastic Gear Digital Servo is a rotary actuator for foam aircraft, small fixed-wing aircraft and helicopters, with additional applications in 1/16 model cars and smart-home door locks. Its 23.5*12*26mm body weighs 10g±1g, despite the 9g designation. The architecture combines an iron-core motor, a 21T output spline and a 180mm electrical lead. Wire identification is red for positive power, brown/black for negative and orange/white for the control signal.
PWM control uses a 1500usec neutral position, a 1000usec ~ 2000 usec pulse range and reverse operation. Travel is 90° total, with 45° each side and a 3usec deadband. At 4.8V, torque is 1.2kg.cm and no-load speed is 0.11sec/60°; at 6.0V, these are 1.5kg.cm and 0.09sec/60°. Electrical ratings conflict: operating voltage is 4.8-6.0V, alongside a separate 6.0Volts ~7.4Volts rating. Gear construction is also inconsistent, with plastic specified for the model and gear type but metal stated in the feature description.
