Product overview

The CUAV P9 Radio Telemetry provides a bidirectional data connection for unmanned systems through transparent serial transmission. Its radio operates at 902–928MHz with frequency hopping, a link rate up to 276kbps, and point-to-point or relay communication. Routing options include automatic routing, store-and-forward, self-healing and packet routing. The 40km distance is a reference value that varies with environment and configuration. Frequency-hopping transmit power spans 100–1000mW, with 1000mW as the default setting.

An aviation aluminum alloy enclosure with surface heat-dissipation grooves houses the module. The main module dimensions are 65 × 40 × 16.5mm, and its 55g mass rises to 86g with the 31g antenna. Integration uses a 3.3V CMOS TTL serial interface, Type-C USB, an SMA inner-pin antenna connection and an XT30PW-M power connector. The specified 12–60V input and stated 3S–12S battery support allow battery integration without an additional BEC for voltage conversion.

Configuration options comprise a base and sky unit set or either terminal individually. Built-in TTL and USB connections allow a module to switch between air and ground roles. Operation is specified from -40°C to 85°C and at 5–95% noncondensing humidity. Procurement integration has a material specification conflict: alternative P9 comparison entries give 5.0V ±0.25V input, Micro USB, different antenna details, and smaller, lighter hardware than the main specifications. Those alternatives cannot be treated as interchangeable installation requirements.
