Product overview
The CUAV CAN PDB Power Distribution Board combines a controller carrier board, power distribution and DroneCAN power management for unmanned systems. It works with V5+, X7, X7 Pro, X7+ and X7+ Pro core boards; Pixhawk V6X is not supported. Applications include fixed-wing aircraft, VTOL aircraft, multirotors, helicopters and unmanned ground vehicles. The board accepts 14–60V input from 4–14S LiPo batteries and provides ten main power outputs. Its ITT algorithm supports electrical monitoring across varying temperatures, with specified current measurement accuracy of 0.1A within the 0–110A range and voltage measurement accuracy of 0.05V.
Power connections include a 12V output rated for up to 4A and configurable 5V, 7.4V or 8.2V supplies for connected equipment. Servo power requires attention during installation: JP1, JP3 and JP4 are disconnected by default, leaving Servo_VCC at 0V. Soldering JP1 connects it to VOUT at the default 5V; bridging JP3 selects 7.4V, while bridging both JP3 and JP4 selects 8.2V. For ESCs that support 5V PWM control signals, enabling K1 switches the controller’s M1–M8 outputs to 5V PWM. The SBUS output is unavailable when an X7+ or X7+ Pro core is installed.
