Product overview
The CADDX GM2 is a camera gimbal that combines mechanical stabilization with head-controlled viewing for FPV drones, fixed-wing aircraft and radio-controlled cars. Its pitch-and-roll architecture accommodates a 19mm-wide FPV camera within a 46.7x41.2x26.5mm assembly weighing 30g. The controllable range is pitch ±120° and roll +60°. These dimensions, camera-width requirements and movement limits define the main integration constraints when allocating space for the gimbal and its camera on a host vehicle.
Electrical integration requires a 7~26V supply and either PWM or UART control. Power consumption is 1.0W when static and 9.5W under a stalled-motor condition. UART head tracking works with Avatar V2(Dual), Avatar V2 or Moonlight transmitters and goggles supporting Avatar head tracking. Third-party head-tracking modules connect through PWM3/PWM4. Operating modes and sensitivity are adjustable, while the specified stabilization accuracy of ±0.005° and maximum controllable rotational speed of ±1500°/s describe the gimbal’s camera-control capability.
