Bytech Technology Co., Ltd.’s ORION SA150 protects drone docks against intrusion by people or animals and provides local warnings and remote supervision. Its integrated hardware combines millimeter-wave radar, a camera, flashing lights, a loudspeaker, a laser module, and a vibration sensor. The camera provides full-color night vision, with pan-tilt monitoring covering 360° horizontally and −15° to +75° vertically. Audible broadcasting and red-and-blue flashing warnings each have a specified distance of 150m. High-frequency and laser bird repelling can be configured to activate automatically during drone takeoff and landing.
The SA150 is a dock security unit, with an ABS/aluminium alloy body measuring 244mm × 105mm × 157.8mm and weighing 810g±4%. Screw-fixed installation supports integration with DJI Dock 2 and DJI Dock 3. Dock power and an included UPS provide its power arrangement, alongside a 2000mAh battery, Wi-Fi and 4G communications, and a Type-C interface. The standard management platform records and forwards warnings, while remote monitoring, control, and calling support site operations. Installation planning must accommodate IP66 protection, an operating range of −25°C to 55°C, and the separately specified 12m millimeter-wave range.
