Product overview
Bynav Ripley is a three-channel broadband GNSS radio-frequency integrated circuit intended for multi-constellation, multi-frequency high-precision receivers. Each channel integrates an RF front end, an intermediate-frequency filter, automatic gain control and an analog-to-digital converter. Ripley supports simultaneous reception of BDS, GPS, GLONASS and Galileo signals, with each channel independently configurable within a frequency range of 1.1 GHz to 1.7 GHz. Its stated applications include automated driving, driving tests, surveying and mapping, digital construction and UAVs, where it serves as a signal-reception component within a positioning system.
Ripley supports sampling rates up to 120 MHz and configurable filter bandwidths from 4 MHz to 40 MHz, including 4, 10, 20, 32 and 40 MHz settings. It provides analog and digital intermediate-frequency outputs, while its integrated 4-bit ADC supports SIG/MAG, binary complement and unsigned codes. Configuration uses a four-wire SPI interface with a maximum rate of 10 MHz. The specified supply range is 1.62–3.6 V, with 3.3 V typical; full-chip operating current is typically 80 mA and reaches a specified maximum of 100 mA. The stated operating temperature range is -55 to 125 °C, and the chip uses a QFN56 package measuring 7 × 7 × 0.75 mm.
