Product overview

The BWSENSING BW-VG50 measures inclination in both moving and stationary applications, including unmanned aircraft, robots, platform stabilization and machinery. Its processing combines Kalman filtering with nonlinearity, orthogonality and gyroscope drift compensation, plus a special bias-tracking algorithm intended to eliminate drift. Measurement capability differs by operating state: dynamic accuracy is 3°, while static accuracy is 0.3°. Resolution is 0.01°, with a pitch range of ±90° and a roll range of ±180°.

The rectangular sensor package measures 55 mm long, 37 mm wide and 24 mm high, defining its physical integration envelope. Weight is 130g including the cable, or 210g including packaging. Integration options include selectable RS232, RS485 or TTL outputs. The specified temperature range is -40°C to +85°C. Shock resistance is 2000g for 0.5ms, with three shocks per axis, and mean time between failures is specified as at least 90000 hours.
