Product overview
The BWSENSING BW-AH50 is a low-cost attitude and heading reference system with applications in unmanned aircraft, robot control, satellite tracking and underwater ROV navigation. Its compact body measures 55 mm long, 37 mm wide and 24 mm high, while the specified weight of 60 g includes the cable. Selectable RS232, RS485, TTL or CAN outputs provide interface choices for integration. The system incorporates high-performance Kalman filtering, temperature compensation across a -40°C to +85°C range, and shock resistance of 2000 g.
For measurement integration, the BW-AH50 covers pitch angles of ±90° and roll angles of ±180°. Pitch and roll accuracy are each 3° RMS dynamically and 0.5° RMS statically, so the accuracy specification depends on motion conditions. Heading accuracy is 3°, with resolution of 0.01° for both attitude and heading. Startup delay is less than three seconds. The maximum output frequency is 100 Hz, while serial communication supports 2400 to 115200 baud and uses a binary high-performance protocol for digital output.
