The APEX MT65 DIY Wooden Drone combines a laser-cut wooden quadcopter frame with a hands-on assembly project for learning aerodynamics and programming. It arrives unassembled, with students and hobbyists building the aircraft from its supplied parts. The completed drone measures 92*92*66mm, has a 65mm wheelbase and weighs 25g including its battery. Its propulsion uses (615) hollow cup motors, while the compact aircraft is intended for indoor flight practice and educational activities.
The supplied flight kit includes a 2.4G remote control, a 3.7V 220mAh battery, USB charging cable, spare propellers and an instruction manual. Flight duration is 5-6 minutes, charging takes 30 minutes, and remote-control range is 50 meters. Headless mode, three speed settings and 360° 3D tumbling support basic practice and recreational flying. Optional configurations extend the learning functions with Optical Flow + TOF hovering, smartphone block programming or physical coding cards; the positioning module and cards depend on the purchased bundle.
