Product overview

The APEX G-129 Brushless Whoop Quadcopter is a compact flight platform for FPV flying, aerobatics and simulator practice. Also described as the APEX 129RX and FPV Skylark Racing Drone, it has a gray-black, four-rotor fuselage made from PA/carbon fiber materials. The aircraft measures 138*124*85mm and weighs 170g. Its propulsion specification lists a 1204 brushless motor and an 11.1V 650mAh replaceable battery. The supplied package includes the aircraft, battery, remote control with built-in battery, VR glasses, charging cable and instruction manual.

Control uses 2.4G wireless communication with the ELRS 2.4G protocol. The separate 5.8G analog video system provides an 800-meter image transmission distance. Matching, model-adapted FPV goggles measure 135*135*64mm and contain a 3-inch TFT LCD with 360*640-pixel resolution. The remote control measures 140*93*55mm and weighs 160g. Simulator connectivity supports direct connection to an Android phone or computer without a dongle. Compatibility with racing drones requires ELRS2.4G receivers and firmware version 3.0 or above.

TOF laser ranging supports positioning, alongside palm takeoff and landing, one-key follow, one-key orbit, fixed-point translation and gradual departure. Activating intelligent follow requires placing the aircraft horizontally for 3 seconds and pressing its bottom intelligent-function button. The lens has built-in stabilization, and manual flight supports 360° rolls, front/back flips and left/right side flips. With the 11.1V 650mAh replaceable battery, a single flight lasts 5–7 minutes and charging takes about 120 minutes. The flight-speed figure is approximately 20, with no definite unit specified.
