Zhuhai Sky Express Co.,Ltd

Company overview

Zhuhai Sky Express Co.,Ltd is an unmanned aircraft manufacturer based in Guangdong, China. Its research and production activities cover logistics delivery drones, weather-modification drones, agricultural and forestry crop-protection drones, and electric vertical takeoff and landing rotorcraft. The company also develops and produces high-end carbon fiber products and supporting UAV components. Its civilian focus brings together aircraft for transporting goods, protecting crops and supporting weather-modification operations, alongside structural materials and components used in unmanned aircraft development.

The company’s engineering capabilities span overall aircraft design, structural design, and mold design and manufacture, with an emphasis on composite materials. Its work includes composite UAV structures and the tooling needed to manufacture them, including layup molds and curing tooling for composite and metal materials. These capabilities extend to composite wings and complex fuselage structures. Zhuhai Sky Express also undertakes flight-platform development and manufacture, connecting its aircraft engineering work with structural fabrication and production tooling.

Urban air transport is a further development direction for Zhuhai Sky Express, including work toward vehicles capable of both road travel and flight. The company has proposed a lift configuration incorporating a blown-wing system as a possible technical approach for such vehicles. This remains a proposed approach for future development, rather than an established road-and-air vehicle capability. It sits alongside the company’s research and production focus on unmanned aircraft, electric vertical takeoff and landing rotorcraft, and carbon fiber products.
