Zhiyang Chuangxin develops artificial intelligence systems for civilian infrastructure inspection and management. Founded in 2006 and headquartered in Zibo, Shandong, China, it integrates algorithms, software and hardware for electricity, water management, rail transport, renewable energy and geological safety applications. Its broader technology range includes image recognition, digital twins, connected sensors, and cloud and edge computing. Drone inspection forms part of this integrated approach, linking work planning and task management with flight monitoring, defect and hazard management, automated analysis and alerts.
Its Xing Sun SF-X1, introduced in 2025, is designed to inspect narrow, complex industrial spaces where satellite positioning is unavailable, using onboard sensors and intelligent algorithms. The Xing Sun drone configuration presented in April 2026 includes a high-definition gimbal camera, scanning lidar and 100 TOPS of onboard computing. Functions include omnidirectional automatic obstacle avoidance, autonomous exploration of unfamiliar environments, three-dimensional modeling and intelligent route planning. Intended tasks cover substations, cable tunnels and underground utility corridors, including equipment instrument reading, elevated defect identification and construction acceptance checks.
The company's drone dock range includes the ZHY-X120 battery-swapping dock and ZHY-X110 mobile inspection system. The ZHY-X120 houses four sets of batteries to support continuous drone operations and has IP55 protection, built-in air conditioning, support for fixed installation and an optional edge computing terminal. The semi-automatic ZHY-X110 combines one-touch takeoff, remote control, autonomous inspection, route planning and real-time data transmission. Inspection personnel must assemble and start the aircraft before autonomous flight can proceed through coordination with the platform. Applications include three-dimensional modeling of power infrastructure construction, photovoltaic site inspection, dam inspection and river inspection.
